5 Year Anniversary!!

Matt and I celebrated 5 wonderful years of marriage on Friday the 6th. It's so hard to believe that we have been married that long! Sometimes I still feel like a kid, so its hard for me to believe that we are married and are about to have two kids. WHAT?! That just seems so crazy! Matt and I talked about how we should spend the evening and decided that we would enjoy an night alone. We had dinner at Primos on Lake Ray Hubbard and watched the sun set from their patio. After dinner we walked around the Harbor in Rockwall and enjoyed some gourmet chocolate. We topped the night off by staying at the Hilton in Rockwall. It was a very nice hotel! Matt and I really enjoyed each others company that night and plan on many many more anniversary's to celebrate!

Weekend Get-A-Way

The whole family!

I can't believe we got them all still for this picture!

This was the only time the kids got to play outside the whole weekend.

This weekend we had a weekend get-a-way at a lakehouse we rented at Bob Sandlin. We had a wonderful time, with the exception of the not so ideal weather. Thursday before we left it was in the 80's. Come Friday night when we arrived at our destination the temp had dropped and the wind had picked up. Saturday morning when we woke up the wind was blowing so hard that some of the chairs on the deck were blowing backwards. Oh well! Like I said we still had a great time. We played games until late at night and ate a bunch of junk food. Isn't that what vacation is all about though. Matt, Susan, Zach and Max braved the cold strong wind for a while to try and get some fishing in, but it didnt last before they came back without a thing. But like Matt says, it's called fishing not catching! I think we all decided that we will have to go back when the weather is a little nicer and we can enjoy the lake and the beautiful deck the house had!

It's a crazy life!

So I have proven to not be a very good blogger and I apologize for that! I promise to try and be better! So here is a little bit of an update of what is going on in the Webb household...
In June Matt and I are expecting our second baby girl. We are very excited about our new addition and at the same time I think a little scared. Kaylee will only be 18 months when the new baby arrives so we will definitely have our hands full. Matt started a new job back in November with FedEx. He really enjoys his new job even though it has been quite a challenge for our family to get used to his new schedule. His hours our 2 am to 10:30 am. I am sure you can imagine why this has been a tough adjustment for our family. (him mostly of course) But this career change will allow me to stay at home with our children when baby #2 arrives. Kaylee has grown up so much in the last few months since I have blogged. She is starting to say some of the cutest things and some not so cute things. Our little angel has shown a side of her personality lately that I hope we can get under control. Her two new favorite phrases or words are: "stop it" and "no". I thought she was too young to have an attitude, but apparently not. No worries Mamo we are working on it! That is just a little glimpse of what has been going on here and again I promise to try and be better about blogging!

Until next time...

Walking...Really?!

Well it's official... she is walking. At only 8 1/2 months she is on the move. It's exciting and sad at the same time, but I knew it was only a matter of time! She is gowing so fast and before you know it we will be planning her 1st birthday party. I will post a video of her walking as soon as I can get one. It seems like as soon as I press record she sits down. I guess she is already camera shy! Oh well.

Addition

Last night Matt and I got Kaylee walking on video. Granted she is actually pushing a toy, but I still think it's crazy! Gotta love this little girl!

OMG!

Well Kaylee is getting bigger and bigger by the day! I swear sometimes it feels like everyday she is doing something new! What happened to the days when I could leave the room for sec and then come back to her sitting exactly where I left her? NOT ANYMORE! Believe it or not at 8 months old she is already trying to walk. She had been pulling up for a few weeks now and crawling is old news too. Her newest thing is to stand up in the center of the room without anything to help her! Is she really supposed to be doing this? Matt keeps telling me I need to stop trying to keep her small and be excited about the new things she is learning. I find it very hard to do that. Don't get me wrong... I am very excited that she is learning. I just wish she would slow it down a notch or two. She is trying to push buttons on the TV, slamming our entertainment center doors and enjoying a bite or two of Abbys' (our dog) food. I am posting a video of her using her excersaucer as a jumper. Its pretty funny! I guess that's all until next time :)

Catching Up!

Wow! It's been a while since I have been on here, but I thought I would catch everyone up. Matt celebrated his first official Father's Day. We celebrated by camping with his family. We had a great time if you could get past the storms we got Saturday morning and then the humidity that came after the rain. We stuck it out and had a good time, but I think we all decided we were done with camping until it gets cooler.

At the end of June Matt and I went to Branson with Jason and Kate. We had a really good time. We saw a show and went to the Titanic Museum. It was the first time that we had left Kaylee for more than one night, so you can imagine how hard it was for me. Thank goodness for Grandma and Grandpa though, she had a wonderful time.

Now it's July and we are enjoying the summer. We have been swimming several times. Kaylee enjoys swimming just as much as I do! She just lays in her little float and chills. We had a fun filled 4th of July complete with swimming, a Baseball game, fireworks and even a fish fry! Now what more can you ask for?

She is getting so big. I can't believe that she is already six months. I just keep thinking that in less than 6 months we will be planning her 1st birthday. It just doesn't seem right. She gets up on all fours and rocks like she is just winding up to take off. She has only barely moved forward once, but I am sure that is only the beginning. She also stands up for several seconds at a time before falling. It's so funny to see this little girl just standing there on her own. With every milestone it's a little sad and a lot exciting. We are watching our little girl grow up so fast. her favorite thing to do lately is to scream. At first Matt and I thought it was so cute. Now that she has been doing it for several weeks we are beginning to see that it is not "so cute." We are hoping that she gets past that phase rather quickly. Well I guess that is it for now. I will try not to wait so long in between blogs next time!
